Assessments

Research and Assessment coordinates student academic assessment and evaluation efforts in the district. This office supports the administration of district and state assessments and assists in the use of this data in the educational decision-making process.

Report Cards

High school students receive progress reports mid-semester and report cards at the end of first and second semesters. Report cards are sent via U.S. Mail and are also kept in Skyward Family Access in each student’s Portfolio, along with other important educational records. Here are step-by-step detailed directions for accessing files in Skyward Family Access: English, Spanish, Punjabi, Vietnamese, If a guardian or student needs help accessing Skyward, please contact your school’s main office.

Report cards for elementary and middle school students come home with your child in February and July.聽 The intention is that the report card, along with other communication throughout the year, gives families information about how each child is progressing toward meeting the state standards, which specify what we want all students to know and be able to do at the end of each grade level.

Post-High School Planning

Each high school has school counselors and career and college readiness coordinators available to help students plan for post-high school career and education.

Beginning Fall 2023, our district participates in the (WAGAP) where high school seniors who meet certain academic and credit requirements are guaranteed admission to certain Washington state colleges and universities.
